Streamer Technology and CoronaVirus (SARS-CoV-2) –

Daikin in collaboration with a group of research professors from the Department of Microbiology in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine from the Okayama University of Science, led by Professor Shigeru Morikawa, has demonstrated that the Streamer technology has inactivating effects against the novel Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2).

As a result of the test, SARS-CoV-2 was inactivated by more than 93.6% after 1 hour of Streamer irradiation. After 2 hours, it was inactivated by more than 99.7%, reaching more than 99.9% after 3 hours of Streamer irradiation.

Streamer Technology suppresses 16 types of pollen that are scattered all year round in Japan –

It was confirmed through research that the streamer technology suppresses 16 kinds of pollen. (cedar, cypress, rice, pampas grass, rye grass, timothy grass, anthoxanthum odoratum, orchardgrass, red pine, black pine, mugwort, goldenrod,ragweed, Japanese hop, white birch, ginkgo). The effect of most of the kinds of pollen researched were suppressed by well over 90%, some reaching 99.9% with 4 weeks, some reached 99.9% in only 2 weeks.

It was found through research that the streamer technology decomposes cedar pollen, and at the same time, it also decomposes exhaust gas (diesel exhaust particles) and PM2.5 that worsen hay fever, dramatically reducing the intensity of allergic reactions.

It has been proved that the active elements produced by the Streamer technology decomposes and neutralizes the norovirus by contacting the norovirus that causes food poisoning. Furthermore, this time, it was proved that operating two Streamer units doubled the suppression effect.
